I have a frequent pipeline that requires simulating a bunch of geometry loaded from FBX files. The geometry comes with base (diffuse) textures that I've managed to marshal along the render pipeline well enough to have it show in the default renderer. However, the final rendering engine (at the moment) octane. Now, my question:
Is is possible to script conversion of basic diffuse mantra materials to octane materials? The only part I care about is that the texture and geometry mapping is preserved. I have hundreds of textures in some cases that need mapping and doing this manually is simply not worth the time.
