How to bake lighting to textures?

Hello, how could I bake lighitng to textures in Houdini?

I only found this [www.sidefx.com], but to be honest I have completely no idea how to use it. Does it support mantra only? No Karma? So Do I need to put my light in /obj instead of /stage?

Yes, that pretty much it... you have the labs maps baker too though I would take a look at that one if I were you.

Labs Map Baker [www.sidefx.com] says:

The MapsBaker can do almost everything the Mantra based baker can, with the exception of baking lighting and procedural shaders.

So I guess... no?

You can't bake Karma stuff currently with artist level tools. I think they included support for developers in 19.5, but if you need tools for it, you'll need to wait until the official ones are ready.
