Hello,
I'd like to ask what is the best workflow to export our cameras from Maya to Solaris. The actual workflow we have is to export is from an Alembic then in Houdini import the alembic cameras and export it as USD, so we are able to tweak the Aperture, Focal Length values and some others. However I believe there is maybe smarter methods. What can we do so we don't lose any data from Maya ?
Thanks

I'm exporting from maya as USD.
Then using edit_camera node for any changes needed on focal length etc.
On thing I did run into is that sometimes I have extra transition frame when I cut camera. For example change position and rotation of the camera in stepped mode. So instead of having same transition in 1 frame it shows extra frame in between looking at some random point before showing correct camera orientation. Not always but no idea why and how it happens.
