Borch's Pirch (Living Room Design)

My friend recently moved to Nashville and wasn't sure how to decorate his empty living room. He asked for my help. He gave me exact measurements of his living room and a few items he already owned. He said he wanted a design that was "Modern, with the touch of an Outdoorsy/Cabin" feel. I gathered all he gave me and did some online shopping for him as well. I found items he could use and buy in real life. These items were modeled by me and placed in the design. I modeled every item seen in this image. I did the lighting ( based off of where his outlets and ceiling light actually are) and color/texturing as well. It was great being able to use Houdini to demonstrate what his empty space could become. My friend was pleased to see his living room "come to life".
