Personal RnD project. Only body location is key frames. The rest is run by a 4D solver predicting every possible arm location with collision and intersection prediction. Heavily VEX based system. The mesh and UV maps are fully generated per frame. Art-directable, and no simulation is involved except for the slime left behind by the steps. Vellum fluids are used for this sim. Plate filmed with a Blackmagic G2 camera. Tracking and plate cleanup/marker removal done in Nuke. Rendered with Houdini/Redshift and final comp done in Nuke. Low poly LiDAR scan of room done with an iPad. Based a lot on techniques learned through Rebelway's Houdini TD Certification course.
