Hello,

I'm at the last step of this sand simulation tutorial, but my computer can't seem to handle the workload. However, my computer specs are very similar to the instructor in this video, which leads me to think that I have not enabled the correct settings in Houdini.

The vellum simulation is huge, so I don't think it can be rendered with my GPU, yet Houdini keeps trying to render using the GPU, even though I have the OpenCL set to "CPU" in preferences.

Computer specs:
GPU: NVDIA Geforce RTX 4080 Super
CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960x 24-Core

If anyone smart could let me know why I'm unable to export this simulation as an Alembic file I'd greatly appreciate it!

I keep getting 1kb files after I hit "Save to disk" in the ROP Output node. I've tried running the output in different formats, yet no geometry appears when I try to open it in Blender. I'm using the paid "Education Edition," which shouldn't limit this capability, correct?
