SOP id variable question

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there is a variable, like a number, that is unique to
each SOP, OP or whatever? My reason for asking is this:
I have a RAND expression, which is rather lengthy, in each transform and
rotation field of a transform SOP. I was hoping that there was some sort
of $OPNUMBER or something so that I wouldn't have to type a different
number in each field for every copy I make of the transform SOP, to get
a different seed value for each copy.
eg. rand($OPNUMBER)*(chf("../wassup",$F-(2*$OFFSET))
Is there such a thing?
Thanksness,

Will Houdini 4.0.4 + run on Win2k?

I run Houdini on Win 2k and it runs beautifully. I don't know if it's
meant to be supported or not, but it works. And my distributor says they
have tested an NT4 box and the same box with Win2K and that Win2k
renders significantly faster. I haven't tried this myself, as I have
different spec machines running the 2 os's.
P.S. Has anyone out there (like sesi maybe?) considered writing a
network render queue manager for NT that actually works in NT? Like
Newtek's Light Wave Screamer Net? That's what I would like. Not an aswer
like, "The Multi-Host output op won't work with NT to NT machines."
