Hi folks, Using H12.0.634 on linux, python 2.7.3. Trying to get modules to be found using HOUDINI_PATH, and attempting to avoid setting HOUDINI_SCRIPT_PATH as well.

Sooooooo, I have been working on a few HDK Ops and now that functionality is worked out, Im starting to tweak the ui to make it actually intuitive. ?There are to things I cam across I cant seem to access... Maybe some have experience with either of these ..... Firstly, the newer very awesome Ramp multi that drops into the bigger ramp making it easier to make little adjustments -- this thing is awesome BTW... ?Is there any way to change the scale or scale displayed on either axis? ?Or what about the gridlines? ie If I wanted to change the Y to be numbered 1-256 broken into even grid increments every 64 -- would this be possible? I tried the range on a ramp and then setting it to the multiparm but it didnt seem to affect it. I searched for sparedata that looked relevant in the headers but see basis, and default showing ... but not anything to do with what Im looking for.... is it possible? anyone else try? Is there a better place to look? The other is access to the icon. I would like the node icon to change based on a parm selection.. ie a ord parm with the items "happy" and "sad" would set the icon to ?a happy :) face or a sad :( one. So theres a callback on the parm, it use the choice to determine icon, the icons in the path -- now what? I'm fairly certain its possible as the switch sop, seems to grab the upstream nodes icon based on select in a similar fashion, the only difference is the upstream node need not be queried. HOW: FLIP fluid inherit emitter velocity 5 years, 6 months
Hey guys I'm trying this but can't make it work How to I make FLIP particles inherit some of the emitter's velocity? The emitter is moving, and the particles just fall down without any influence from the emitter.
