Hey lets start a Softimage/A/W/SideFx thing....I've been learning XSI and it sure is convenient having the web in a viewport and being able to drag and drop stuff into the scene....work along with the tutorials...yank stuff off my website...I think Maya has a plugin for this as well... I don't want to start a A/W vs. Sidefx thing here, but the html docs for Maya are very sweet. It's a real help when you're a Maya newbie (me). Lots of examples and images. The search engine is great and the index is very comprehensive. I've craved something like that for Houdini for a long time. I think the reason that the feeling of "Houdini is hard to learn" is mainly because of the lack of comprehensive documention. Sesi is belatedly going in the right direction with this. I'm waiting in breathless anticipation! Mike Simon Barrick wrote: > > I don't know about Pixar but Adobes search tool is horrendous - I knowit's horse for
