I saw Wacom's new 18" Cintiq display at siggraph, which even has drivers for sgi! (though not linux) This is a wacom tablet, with an 18" LCD display underneath. I messed around with Photoshop running on it. Loverly!! I believe it costs US$3500. The cables leave the unit from the centre of its back, so you can take it off its stand and put it on your lap. Also the stand allows you to rotate the screen about the viewing- plane, as it holds the display (at the back) in the centre. Very cool. An artist can 'swivel' the display for left/right handedness. I've taken some digital photo's of it in operation, if you're interested. regards, ben. __________________________________________________________ Ben Simons Physics Building, A28, VisLab Systems Manager The University of Sydney.
