Hey

Since there is Steam on Linux and it is quite good so far, are there plans to make Indie available
for the Linux part of Steam users, too? Or am I missing something and it already is?

Hi there!

I'm currently learning Houdini (moving on from ~18 years of 3ds max) and thinking about moving on from the Apprentice License (such a great idea, thx again, SideFX!) to Indie. Since I saw that a license for Houdini Indie can be bought via Steam I was wondering: whats the catch?

-Will Houdini only run node locked to the machine that was used to buy Houdini via the Steam client?

-Will it be “node locked” to the Steam account? (which isn't really “locked” to a single machine)

-Will Houdini only run if the Steam client is installed, running and connected to the internet?

I searched the site and forum but couldn't find any info on this.. Can anyone answer this?
