Hello,

I'm trying to simulate water contained within a balloon but for some reason the particles don't stay in it. They go all the way through. Any idea what can be causing this problem? Someone told me it might be Grid Scale on the FLIP Object but it doesn't change anything for me. Also, I'm using custom collision geometry created using VDBs, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I've attached simplified version of my scene if anyone wants to have a go…

Hello,

I'm working on a bursting water balloon effect [youtube.com] and I'm looking for a way of implementing a tension within a rubber of the stretched balloon. I tried using Spring SOP but preferably I'd like to have better self collisions, so I'm trying to implement it with Cloth Solver. There doesn't seem to be a parameter for controlling this aspect however…

Or maybe there is a better way of going about creating this effect? Any thoughts/directions?
