Our Animation & Games (A&G) program provides a thorough grounding in the development and creation of digital animation and games, including 3D computer animation, motion graphics, motion capture, educational games, real-time entertainment, and social gaming.
A&G students work in a studio environment alongside faculty who are industry veterans with award-winning portfolios. Our school remains connected to leading studios, developers, and tech companies often hosting, sponsoring and organizing networking events, informational sessions and internship/job placement opportunities.
You'll find our alumni are in studios world wide, including Disney, ILM, Pixar, Blizzard and Epic Games. Careers include 3D artist, animator, art director, concept artist, environment artist, game developer, graphic designer, illustrator, project manager, VFX artist.
Students learning Houdini have plenty of hands-on experience and opportunity to get creative. We help you think like an engineer and an artist by emphasizing how to combine principles and techniques to solve aesthetic and production-oriented problems using production best practices.
Our faculty have over a decade of experience using Houdini in production and teaching students to use this industry-leading software.
Houdini is taught extensively in our Introduction to Proceduralism and Digital Effects courses. In addition, students have the opportunity for Houdini mentorships and independent studies with faculty.
A&G students also utilise Houdini in various animation, games, visual effects, and motion design portfolio and group projects throughout the program.
