Delete shelf tool

Deletes input geometry by entity number, bounding volume, primitive/point/edge normals, and/or degeneracy.

Overview

This tool deletes the selected object at the object level, and allows you to delete components of an object at the geometry level. A Dissolve is used if edges or points are selected, and a Blast is used if primitives are selected.

Using Delete

  1. Select the object at the object level or components of the object at the geometry level.

  2. Click the Delete tool on the Modify tab.

Note

This tool is mapped to the ⌦ Del key.
