1. In the Polygon tab, click the tool.

2. In the viewport, drag from the first point to the second point.

   or

   Click the first point, then the second point.

   When you release the mouse button, the tool snaps the first point to the second point and merges them.

Before merging points, turn on Midpoint in the operation toolbar above the viewport.

1. Hold S to temporarily enter the Select tool.

2. While holding S, select the points in the viewport, then release S.

3. Do one of the following:

   • To snap the selected points to an existing point before merging, click the point in the viewport.

   • To snap the selected points to their centroid before merging, click the Collapse selected points button in the operation toolbar above the viewport.
