This shelf tool sets up a sparse pyro simulation of a small scale candle flame simulation with a transparent source and smoke emitted from the tip of the flame. This shelf tool highlights a simple way to artistically control the look and transparency of a flame post-sim using a mask field.
Important Nodes ¶
candle_model1

The candle_model1 node generates a candle and a wick geometry. These are merged with the flame for viewport visibility and used in the
lopnet for rendering.
jitter_pts1

This node spreads out the source points for the bluezone_mask to be larger than the flame source. During simulation, the bluezone_mask encapsulates the entire flame and can give you more control to create transparency and blue hue at the source location.
