Hi!

Im having an issue with the ray node. The object I want to conform behaves in a really wierd way. Some of it does clinge to the surface but a big part doesn´t. I tried different node setup and Im using the "minimum distance" option. Im attaching an image so you can see it for yourself. The geo that is supposed to conform to the surface has subdivision and it should easily do the trick. It stretches in a wierd way as if there was not enough primitives but there is. It is evenly spaced out. I need some help guys. I dont know what to do next.

This seems pretty consistent with Minimum Distance since that mode doesnt care about direction its projecting in, just snaps to the closest location

Yes. You are right. I missed that but the name is obvious. I figured it out. Projecting rays works if you reverse the rays. Also, I set the extrude to early and it did not work. Setup after the ray node solves the problem.
