Im in Houdini 20.5 and im trying to setup a rat crowd agent to use with motionpaths. Ive downloaded this rat character: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/black-rat-free-download-3db3acb4140d4de8bd62a171212bad9c [sketchfab.com]

Im trying to get it to work inside the new Houdini 20.5 MotionPath tools but its not locomotive, its just in place. Can anyone help me out? Im going to include the .hip file of me messing around to try figure it out, but that has resulted in nothing.

Any help appreciated.

More info if you dont want to open the hip or link:
The Rat is from sketchfab, it is as an FBX and has all the animations baked into it- they are all in place. When I am trying to add this as an agent in H20.5 it is still in place, and will not be locomotive, which I want it to be to be able to use the motionpath tools. I have tried converting and extracting locomotion with no luck.

I haven't got the source animation downloaded to test out, but if the animation is in-place you would currently need to add locomotion to it yourself. E.g. if it's at a pretty constant speed, add a transform SOP to animate the skeleton at the constant velocity after the FBX Animation Import SOP. There would be more procedural ways to do this, of course, but that's the simplest approach to describe if you don't have many clips to deal with

(Alternatively you could also directly set up the __locomotion__ joint on the skeleton, but it's probably easiest to visualize the motion on the whole skeleton and then extract locomotion afterwards)
