Hi, I'm new to the world of Houdini. The best thing i like(in my one week of Houdini Experience) is their Apprentice program. It's very good to make expensive softwares available to users for learning.

While i currently work on maya and the maya API, I was wondering whether Houdini also give their HDK for learning. If yes then from where can i get it? If no then are they planning to do so.

Also, does houdini have fur and cloth support?

Houdini don't have special tools like Maya for cloth and fur.

The website say have HDK.

If you read futher down on vislab website, it says the HDK is currently not available.
