There seems to be something wrong with Vulcan texture caching for viewport background video/sequences.
First, it seems I can not change the max cache size for Vulcan texture cache in the cache manager window. Is this set somewhere else now?
Second, with every loop the cache size increases. I am trying to cache 50 4k frames a 50% quality, no issue with OGL. With Vulcan I can not seem to get 50 frames cached and played in real time.
Also I can not get any background video displayed in Solaris when Vulcan is the active. Again, no problem with the same scene and OGL.
Am I missing something, like a hidden setting? Has someone else the same experience?
Or should I just wait for 21 to mature?

This is with Vulcan

So, am I the only one seeing this? I need to know if it is on my side before I log an RFE.

I'm not able to reproduce the VRAM issue with either a movie or image sequence. Daily 21.0 builds should be rolling out soon, so please submit a bug with your setup if it's not resolved in those.

The Solaris issue may be due to LOPs using a different viewer than SOPs, with its own unique settings, so if you switch between the two you'll get the LOP background image setting rather than the SOP (likely 'none'). I've verified that image sequences and movies work in the Camera LOP's Background Image field and the display option's Background tab when in LOPs.
