In short guide deform works fine, guide are properly deformed by mesh and placed on it.
If there is no operation and cache not read hair gen generates hair properly on animated mesh.
But if I cache out that and turn on read file or load from file then there are differences and hair is not generated properly. Any ideas what am I missing?
Attaching two images to show issue as well.
Not save to disk was run with hair gen working properly.

BTW seems like those hairs just don't generated at full number, they are not like under the mesh or on wrong place, they just don't get generated. They are missing in rendering as well, not only viewport

Hi Mirko

Can you give some more information please? A hip file would be ideal, but otherwise the size and resolution of your skin mesh, the number of guides, the number of hairs, the Houdini version. I see that your skin mesh is quite low res in relation to the number of hairs on it, I'm curious if subdividing it might solve your issue? I haven't seen this issue before, but that is the main unusual thing that I can notice from your screenshots.

Hey sry couldn't get back to this as was rather busy but yea it was one of the nodes with extra transform in it after all, but ton of nodes so missed that one. sorry for the noise, again it was human (my) error, and Houdini did all as expected.
