Hi Everybody and merry Christmast
I have been checking out the OTIS solver, but I cannot get such extreme skin slide results even withte same motion on Otto
like in the demo for the presentation of H21 ?
Is there a scene where I can lear from to get something like in the pics below that was shown in the presentation ?
Thank you

Hello
In the Otto Muscle Simulation recipe you need to toggle on "Skin Sliding" on the "Skin Deform" node inside the "deform_skin" subnet to get this effect. The "Low Resolution Relaxation" settings are what helps the sliding have an effect over a larger area. It is not happening in the Otis solver itself.

Hi Liesbeth
Thank you for the response, I have turned on 'Skin Sliding' on the skin deform and I have played with the
low resolution relaxation and also the tension, but I am not getting no where near similar sliding result,
just a minor effect. Does the resolution of the mesh coming in ( not the tet ) play any weight on the result ?

Yes, it is very much resolution dependent, the higher the resolution of the render mesh, the lower the resolution percentage needs to be for the same sliding effect. If you have four times the number of points as Otto's render skin (i.e. subdivide Otto with a depth of 1), then you'll need to roughly quarter the existing resolution percentage to get a similar sliding effect. This is not exact, but hopefully it will help as a rough guideline.

I will play more with the settings
