I just uploaded a video covering USD Render Prims.
It was made last year to help explain how to use the new Render Pass prim but took me ages to find the time to finish it up.
Hope it helps someone out there!

That's a great overview, I really enjoyed watching that.

As alluded to in your video, we have thus far strictly focused on the "scene visibility" aspects of RenderPass, and consciously ignored its potential for higher-level control of the render (e.g., choosing the RenderSettings).

It would be great if you could log RFEs for:
- providing better workflows for RenderPass-driven RenderSettings selection
- one-shot multiple RenderPass rendering

Again, really nicely presented, thanks for sharing this with the world!

Thanks so much!
Glad to be able to help out the community

No worries, I'll look at logging them tomorrow.
I think I submitted an RFE last year but can't remember exactly what I put in it now haha.
I at least remember suggesting implementing similar logic to the render settings parameter (and husk flag) for the render pass equivalents. Which would allow for specifying multiple render passes either explicitly or using pattern matching.

You did indeed ... just found it (I hadn't properly tagged it so it didn't come up in my first search).

Having a separate one for RenderPass-driven RenderSettings selection would still be useful.

Heh, another client just logged it
