Hey All.
Just came back from Bootcamp in Santa Monica. Great week and great software.
Ok. I'm totally green with Houdini so I'm trying to remake some easy projects I did in the past.
First of is the Domino effect.
I've set up a domino piece with an animation of it falling over
copy stamped it along Z with a timeshift node
this works beatifully for a non Dynamic solution.
Now I want to do it along a curve.
I made a simple nurbs curve
resampled it so I got some even spaced points
copy the domino onto the curve
HOW to align the dominoes along the spline?
cheers!

Sweep SOP should do it for you.

You're right it does!
Now, how do I time warp the copies… which isn't copies anymore?
cheers!

Hej Pingo.
You wouldnt have be working with Mads Tuxen at Gyroscope on this domino-project for TDC?? just a wild geuss ?
Its funny because Im learning houdini and did just that for fun to show Mads (he is my good friend ) how easy it is in houdini. If you are interested I can email you the scene I have come up with..
