Full Version: map point to primitive centre using Point SOP

Hi everyone, I'm sure there is an easy solution for this - but unfortunately my brain isn't big enough

I'm wondering how to reduce the number of points mapped to a poly centre. I'm using the point SOP with the position expression $primTX,$primTY,$primTZ to move the points of a poly to the primitive centre. I hoping to reduce these points so that there is only one point per primitve.

I'm goofing around with the spring SOP and copy SOP and would like to instance objects to the polys of a control object.

hope this makes sense,
thanks.

You could do something like this and use a fuse to consolidate all the overlapping points,

works like a charm - thanks!
