Hi I am trying to get Houdini fired up on a Asus F3E notebook with an Intel Graphics media accelerator driver version 7.15.10.1322 . I got the pop up about the graphics card not supporting the OGL shaders so I entered , a new environment variable setting its value to zero.

The Houdini License Admin window pops up but after I select install a non commercial license the license screen goes black after a while I can get the end user agreement up , but the graphics wont refresh. I presume this is to do with the open GL drivers on the laptop

Any ideas to try and get it working …

I have similar problem with my Ubuntu laptop with ATI graphics chip.

I resolved the license manager display problem by manually entering the license code rather than through the automated license retrieval tool.

You may still encounter problem after the software is successfully licensed.

I had also problems with Intel's X3100 after I installed the latest drivers from this year. After installed old ones from 2007 it's working fine again. Of course it's still slow but at least I don't have any OpenGL bugs.
