Hi,
Was wondering if anyone has had the same issue with lag as me.

The Issue:
I created the default toon character, however, when moving him around there's a delay in responsitivity.. which really shouldn't be there considering he's not that geometric intensive.
Mind you, i can grab a sphere and move it perfectly with instant feedback. I'd hate to think my system can't run the default cartoon character at full speed.
I'm able to circle/orbit/pan around the character at full speed, with no delay. It's just when I grab a controller to move him that I see a delay in response.

My system specs
Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10
AMD 64bit 3200+
Nvidia 6600GT
Restricted Video Driver

Thanks for reading, I hope someone's able to help me with this issue, because I'd really like to use this program for some personal projects.

Are there any other free rigs kicking around that I could test out?

This may have nothing to do with your issue as I don't think the toon character has colored controls, but I think some of the rigs use the primitive attribute “Cd”, which slows things down a lot for me in Linux.
