Hi, I am new to Houdini. I brought in the fxtools smoke scene. I've one distance light in the scene. When I render, I am seeing just black frame.
But I can see the other objects in my scene.

Any help very much appriciated.

Thanks

1, you need to add a shadow light in smoke Tab,

2, then, you have to click the “save metaball frame” or “sequences” every time you modify the smoke.

cheers!~

Got it. its working fine now. I saved the scene in my local D: drive.

Currently my $JOB path is pointing cWindows. I am not able to save any images from Mplayer. How do I change this path in to my local D:drive?

Right-click on My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables. Change it in the User variables.
