the final size of the submitted avi for the challenge should be 640*480.

Is it allowed to have “black borders” at the top and the buttom of the image as long as the overall size is 640*480, or not? I guess its allowed, but just to be sure

I see absolutely no problem in you submitting your final work in a letterbox format. You are the director of your piece and if you feel this is the way you want to present it, then by all means do so. Given the right work, it can enhance the final presentation.

The resolution is obviously fixed by apprentice.
