Can someone point me to a tutorial on how to make Machine gun trace fire?

I don't know of a tutorial, but I'm working on a solution myself. If you can wait a week or two, I'll post it. If not, you need to consider the sub frame movements of the camera to get those nice wiggles. Also, instead of using geometry (cylinder or spline, like tutorials for other apps), I'm doing it with particles.

I don't have a whole lot of time to work on the effect right this moment, but it should clear up in a few days.
