I'm ready to buy Houdini Apprentice HD but I was wondering were I should buy it.

Direct from SideFX's website, or from GarageGame's site?

They would probably be the same but from what I've purchased from GG's site, I always get the licensing info right away instead of those 24 hour process waits.

Do I lose support or something like that when I get it from GG?

I bought my HD license direct from sidefx. Got email back more or less straight away with my licensing info.

Yeah just bought it a few hours ago from SideFX - Got email instantly and was able to license my copy instantly as well.

I do have one question:

I installed the licenses on my laptop, in which I am getting a new one coming in the mail around Wednesday - how do I un-install Licenses to install on my new laptop?

Hi there. You can just go the License Manager and right click on all the HD license and choose to “Return license” or something like that. Then on your new laptop, just redeem your license again. Be aware tho, I think you can only return and redeem your license up to total of 3 times…

I'll do that when I get my Laptop. Thank God there's a feature to do that, because some programs you have to re-purchase a license as they are only usable once.
