I try now for few days to get a houdini apprentice license. Every time when I try to get one Houdini tell me that I should set up a proxy server.

Can anybody tell me how that works?

Are you behind a firewall? Try disabling that first. If you're running on Windows Vista, run Houdini as the administrator (or turn off User Access Control (UAC)).

I tiped in all manualli, now it works.
