I have download a newest Houdini 9.5 Apprentice , thanks for houdini, now I have more chances to do simple thing with Houdini, but when I install Houdini 9.5 into my laptop with OS is UbuntuStudio
when I run the software , It work smooth , but the only thing is , i cannot see any icon
can anyone kindly give me a help please ??

you can try deleting the houdini 9.5 folder in your $home directory and restart Houdini.
Some specs of your graphics card might help as well

Is not the graphics card that has a problem is the houdini9.5 folder in your home directory, for some reason, the installation create a folder which belongs to root.
if you can't delete it
in terminal type
sudo chmod -R 777 houdini9.5
and that will fix it
