sorry for the dumb question but i was wondering if you can move the pivot piont in Houdini and if so how can it be done? and if on was to make like a Birail in houdini or does it have something else in it? i know these are questionsthat might have been covered before but i don;t seem to remember if there is or not.

Hi George,

To move the pivot point, you can do either of the following:

a. To move the handle's pivot, type “ ‘ ” (single quote) in the viewport then move the handle to a new position. After it’s done, type “ ‘ ” again.

or

a. To set the pivot parameter, uncheck “Pivot about Group Centroid” & type in the values you want.

As for the Rail SOP question, I don’t really understand what you mean but maybe this link [odforce.net] will help?
