Hello,

I'm trying to work in cm in Solaris like I would when working in Maya.
So I went to Edit > Preferences > Hip File Options and changed the units there.
The problem is, the cameras look super tiny in the viewport when working at this scale, but I don't know how to make their icons bigger.

I'm working in 18.5 BTW.

On the View page of the Camrea LOP is a Guide Scale parameter. By default it contains an expression that looks at the metersperunit of the input stage, and sets an appropriate value. But if you are using a Sublayer LOP to load in a USD file, the metersperunit from that file may be overriding the preference you've set. Also, there is a separate Meters Per Unit preference on the Lighting page, but it's default is to use the value from the Hip File Options, so unless you've changed that value setting it the way you did should work.

Thanks mtucker,

My camera parameters don't have Guide Scale.
This must have been added in a newer version of Houdini.
I have 18.5.351. I'll try installing a newer version.

Much appreciated!

Yeah, we're up to 18.5.711... You're almost a year behind
