1. How do you load the simplelook node? Even after restarting houdini it's not there for me

2. Also, did you use the actual simpleLook node in the graph or was it just floating there to show that it works?

1. You have to make sure that you save the subgraph into the correct folder:

/user/Documents/Houdini20.0/apexgraph/ (this is where you put your subgraphs)

2. When I'm creating the component script, I pull in the simplelook node as a reference only. It doesn't get used in the final rig graph.

Is there a way you can show me how to use the reverse foot node from kinefx with apex i have the reverse foot working properly on my guide.skel but when i drop an apex auto component the foot reverse ik doesn't work
