Curious to know other ways like with the TOPs file rename node to rename an existing bgeo sequence of files already on disk,

just changing a portion of the name but keeping the sequence numbers.

In the image is what I have put in the parameters as an example but when I try and dirty and cook nothing happens.

Not experienced in setting up TOPs so I don't know if that is the issue or the file rename node is not meant for what I am trying.

Renaming a file sequence is not problem in other ways for me, e.g. I can run another file cache node from an existing one and just re-create the sequence.

Or even just run a Windows .bat file which will replace the existing file sequence with a new name.

Here, I'm just curious to know of a third way if possible with this TOPs node.

As far as I know global substitution will not work in File Rename. There are quite a few other ways to do it, I have attached some examples.

Cool...thanks alexwheezy....so that's what was missing in my case, basically needing File Pattern node.
