Hi,
Is anyone else having an issue authenticating the launcher app via Safari on MacOS? It works in Firefox so I'm able to log in, but I have to go to my OS settings to change the default browser as the launcher just sends a url request and the default browser is launched. It would be great if this request could be handled by the app internally or if it could give an option to choose the browser.
Thanks!

Same here, it's not possible to use Safari.

Yeah I've reported this as well. PIA.

Same problem. A workaround is that after the launcher opens your Safari browser, you can copy the address to Chrome or another browser, and then perform the login to access the launcher. This way, you can bypass the need to change the default browser.

Thanks yiguanyaoyaofen, ironically I just figured this out the other day when I upgraded Houdini. Much easier than switching the default browser!

Another option. In Safari open Settings
> Advanced
and check the Show features for Web developers
box.
A new menu Develop
appears, choose User Agent
> Google Chrome
. Reload the page and the error goes away.

Great suggestion, thanks liberalarts, I'll try that one next time.

That didn't work for me (changing User Agent), but, the Develop menu has a 'Open Page With' option, this allows you to authenticate without having to change your default browser first.
