Day 04 - Foliage

Today I was inspired by the alpine eucalypt forests of my homeland, Australia. On hiking holidays, I've always admired their blue-green hues and enjoyed their wonderful eucalyptus aroma.

This is my take on a metal-alien-kind-of-leaf animation. I had no time to render properly, so it´s a bit low quality.

04 Foliage

Day Four

04 - Foliage. Leaf created with VEX. Animated the fold, and put into a basic RBD sim for the falling animation.
A couple VERY quick maps set up with COPS.

Day 4 : SOPS Foliage
A mix of matrix deformation, instancing and CHOPs.
