So, basically everything i make ends up being Fairies vs Robots.

I am thinking to make a sh'mup-type game, where there are robots invading the forest, and you, as a fairy can fly through and beat them up and steal their powers. (maybe you can also play as a robot in a VS mode ala Twinkle Star Sprites for Neo Geo)

Maybe the robots are coming from archaic ruins through a portal to a time/place where the civilization is still active and thriving.

Hey y'all! finally got caught up from the computer troubles, backlog.

Gonna focus on making some cool stuff for this Jam, now! No(t many) distractions!



I've started off with a mushroom house generator... it pretty much only generates a house that looks like this, right now. but the idea is to have a few different variety of mushrooms, balconies, different numbers of stories, chimneys, windows with little window gardens, etc.

maybe even some interiors?

I don't know if i'll put all my time into just this asset or maybe make a few different ones for an environment... wish i had been able to work on this from the start... oh well! here we go!

well, i made some controls for height, width, cap droopyness, and "gills" (which are more like boards of wood).




Maybe next i will add windows, balconies, aminita cap style... anything else?

I wonder if i should make 2 versions of the hda, one for placing by hand and a pdg version for covering a large area automatically?

Yesterday, i did some experiments with metalic, or futuristic mushroom houses (just the base shapes so far). maybe they are like little flying-saucer imposter mushroom houses and the stems are tractor beams, and this is where the robots could come from.

...

I made all the texture-me-bobs in COPs and i applied them with
"attributefrommap" SOP and also using LibraryLinker LOP (and friends). I need to experiment to figure out the best way to get these into unreal by HDA.
