Hey there

I am currently working on a system, where I want to let some objects follow a curve.
This curve is a Nurbs curve that goes through the resample node to create even point distribution and to generate the curveu attribute.

Now the thing is, that (allthough the points are evenly distributed) the increment of curveu between each point differs extremely.

Which results in the object following the curve having notable variation in speed, although it should remain at constant speed.

Is there something I am missing or another SOP which distributes the curveu attribute evenly?

I added a picture where I colorized the restlength of each point to point segment in relation to the delta of curveu.
Means: red areas show high deviation of curveu, blue means low deviation.
I would need the result to look evenly colored

curveu is based on parametrization of the input curve, not the output one

so if you want uniform distribution, append another Resample SOP (Max Seg Length and Max Segments turned off) just to generate curveu on already resampled curve
