Hi! I was wondering if there's an operation that allows for only edges to be left over after deleting all other geometry. I've given a Blender example of the result I'm trying to achieve.

I'm doing this in hopes of getting an edge that can be resampled with the point indices being in a predictable order.

I've tried changing the delete and blast parameters but haven't been able to figure anything out.

Some help would be much appreciated, thank you!

what is that blender example doing exactly? why is the short center deselected edge also deleted?
it makes it hard to decypher what is the algorithm behind if some deselected edges also collapse for no apparent reason

It's much easier if you just want to keep specific edges, like selected ones or inverse of that, just select or group those you want to keep and use Curve From Edges SOP

in you case it would be inverse of your group, so you can use "!" : !deleteTheseEdges

Thank you so much!

To answer your question, that small edge was selected, Blender just highlights the most recent selection in white instead
