I created a subnetwork (shift+C), I need to remove some nodes from it. how do I go about doing this?

Hi,
if by “remove” you mean “delete”, you can simply dive into the subnetwork (double click on it or select it and press “i”), select the nodes and press “del”.
If by “remove” you mean “move them back to where they came from”, you probably need to select those nodes you want to move back (again, being inside the subnetwork), press CTRL+X, go back to where they came from and press CTRL+V. You may then need to reconnect everything.
Maybe I misunderstood the question, though?

THANKS malbrecht. CRTL+X, CTRL+V did exactly what I needed. I didn't think of that.

you can also use Right Click > Actions > Extract Contents
this will bring all the nodes out of the subnet and remove the subnet

Maybe a little late to the party, but it seems the secret key combination "CTRL+V" still is the only way to remove the subnetworks from a subnetwork.
Why not add a menu for a function like that in the network editor so peeps don't have to use google to figure this out ?
Or is there I menu hidden somewhere ?
I've been searching all over but could not find any way to remove the subnetworks until I stumbled upon this thread.
Not to be sarcastic, but is cut and paste that well kept of a secret?

Maybe I misunderstand, but in that case "Ctrl+x" or "cut" should work, and not "Ctr+v" which usualy stands for "paste" ?
