Hey guys! I wasnt exactly sure HOW to describe this, but what i'm doing is trying to put a mesh on a smoke simulation. I've gotten pretty far. I'm able to give it a surface, HOWEVER I wanted to know if I could make the surface more accurate to the simulation in question. Below is my simulation with a mesh , and right under it is the simulation. It get's close (the mesh), but i was wanting to see if i could get it any closer.

This right here is how I"m adding a mesh to my simulation.

You could try a node called ConvertVolume. Play around with the isovalue, and make sure you only supply the Density field.

Awesome! Thank you Enivob! I'll give it a shot.

intersting… I remember there was a plugin from Thinkbox for 3dsMax. Xmesh? dont remember exactly, anyway. Yep this would be great to work in Houdini with such a setup. Interesting…
