Hi,

I always meet refreshing problem when I using Solaris.
For example, creating some geometry in Sop Create, then changing some parameters and transform about them. The viewer keeps the old geometry state with the newer state at the same time.
In this situation, I must restart Houdini to refresh.
I can't submit bugs with hips because the problem can't be reproduced repeatedly.

Now I want to know is there some method to force the viewer to refresh without restart Houdini.

Thanks for any tips!

PS. my video card is the NVidia 1660s in Windows 10.

We see this problem a lot too and we've always been told to just create a new scene viewer. It's a bit silly.

It may sound redundant to say it, but if you have any repros I'm sure it would speed up SideFX's ability to track down these issues and fix 'em.

Of course but that's just it... so far we have not nailed down a set of clear '1-2-3-result!' steps. Sometimes it can be as simple as opening a new scene, dropping down a sphere lop, then transforming the sphere, and having a mysterious duplicate sphere left behind. Sometimes it shows up in more complex scenarios.

Yes, it will not appear repeatedly by the same operation sequence that is needed by bug reporting.

Yup, okay... I do often wish you could set Houdini into an event-recording mode which might be able to be consulted or even replayed.

Hi all, someone here at work found a reliable repro for stuck geometry in LOPs and I've reported it. Hopefully it helps with this issue too.

Good on you guys for that one, Jason! This one has been elusive for us.

All good. I believe a fix has already gone in for this today. Cross fingers it improves your cases too.

It has been fixed in H18.5.473.
Thanks a lot!
