Houdini Engine 19.5.303

Hi guys,
I updated Unity and Houdini Version recently, and found that the UI of edit nodes tools in houdini engine was gone. Does anyone have the same problem? I tried the attribpaint node, and keep the node unlocked and checked the "Enable Editable Node Tools" checkbox . Just like in the documentation, but the UI simply does not appear.

I don't know what to do. Please help.

This issue was caused by a regression in the Houdini Engine API code, that was fixed in H19.5.341.

I see the same issue on H19.5.368 using HE5.0.1 following the PDG for Indie Game Dev tutorial that worked with the painter node on version 17 or 17.5. I tried the painter and attribute paint nodes. Nothing gives me the UI.

I am also following the tutorial series and ran into the same problem. I tried it with both nodes (edit and attribpaint) accordingly with the documentation. Would be really grateful for a solution.

Another question on editable nodes in unity. Are editable curves removed from current versions? Isn t that a mayor issue that should be adressed as well?

FIXED EDIT:
After Upgrading to Houdini: 19.5.368, Houdini Engine 5.0.1 and Unit 2021.3.11f1 i finally got the editable node overlay.

While following the tutorial i encountered another problem. If you create another obj level node (painting/scattering/export) like in the tutorial i didn t work properly anymore. I just put the export into the painting node to fix that.

Glad you got it working! Sadly I can't upgrade my version of unity due to other bugs on their end so I'm stuck with an older version and probably no editable node access :/

Thanks for the replies guys.
But sadly I still can't make it work.
I've tried everything. I update Unity and Houdini. Now I am using Unity 2021.3.12f1 and Houdini 19.5.435.
I still have the same problem.
And now to make matters worse, the checkbox for Enable Editable Node Tools disapeared, if the pisplay is not in the paint attribute node.
But either way the window to paint inside Unity doesn't appear. I am sending the hda that I made to test it.
