Note: This node works with Karma CPU - it does not work with Karma XPU.
Note: If you want a sample Compositing network for this node choose Quick Setups > Sample Compositing Network on the Background Plate node.

Finally understood how this one worked after trying it out during the 2022 Mardini
Day 9: 16 samples on Karma XPU. Not sure if that's why there is noise and not sure if my AOV's are actually making a shadow on the backplate?
Hello if my backplate exists out of multiple objects and instances it seems to self shadow witch is not a wanted result. ( only the tiny sphere is not a backplate )
although its not really self shadow, I hope you get what I mean.
(lightlinker also did not help)

ps. please add both the possibility to add a roughness map as wel as the possibility to easily add the roughness attribute(or any other one) to our render vars.

This was my favorite Mardini day this year. Maybe because it was a fun topic for a weekend project, and maybe because I went outside to film stuff, even though in I ended up using pexels. I love the background plate lop.
