Hi guys. I'm pretty far from working with husk but I have a few computers one indie license and some more karma render tokens. I wanted to try using Karma through the hydra delegate. I found this article.

https://www.enoni.de/wp/karma-on-deadline-via-husk/ [www.enoni.de]

And it works fine but I noticed that the sent tasks only use CPU.

Could someone please tell me how to specify in USD ROP node which delegate to use.

Has this been answered yet ? I am trying to use KARMA XPU with TOPS and Husk seems to only send CPU jobs ? Its rendering ..but even though my render settings are set to XPU its using CPU only.

Also have the same issue. Is there a work around? Not sure how to do render layers in Solaris without using TOPs. And it's bad to have a several render ROPs and doing them manually, one by one, just to get XPU to work.

you need to tell Deadline to explicitly use XPU render delegate. In the additional arguments, add:

-R BRAY_HdKarmaXPU

then it should force XPU

Well, I noticed (at least on MacOS), when using husk in Terminal to render, using "--engine xpu", it still renders it out with CPU. If my stats software isn't lying to me.

try using the above in your husk command and see if that works, though it might only be for setting a usd render delegate which is how we do it.
