These optional environment variables can be used to configure additional behavior by the plugin:

HEMAX_HDA_PATH

This environment variable can set to a directory, and whenever a new Houdini session is started, all of the .hda files and .otl files found in that directory will be loaded as assets

USE_HENGINE_ENV_IN_HOSTS

This environment variable must be set on the Houdini side. When the plugin starts a new Houdini session, it will look in the HARS process for the presence of this environment variable. If USE_HENGINE_ENV_IN_HOSTS is found in the server’s process, the plugin will copy every environment variable from the server process into the 3ds Max process
