As a Maya user now jumping into Houdini I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a specific learning path AFTER one has watched the excellent Go Procedural videos.
I realize that there are tons of videos here at SideEffects as well at cmiFX, 3DBuzz and Digital Tutors. Most seem to reference Houdini 9. And most are pretty specialized.
Since everyone has limited time in their lives I was hoping folks here might have a few suggestions on a string of paid or free tutorials for someone who needs to get up to speed fast but doesn't want to miss key fundamentals of Houdini 12.
I'd like to watch every Houdini video on the web but that's proving impractical .
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I would suggest this page to start:
http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=192&Itemid=351 [sidefx.com]
This includes the user guide lessons and video tutorials by Peter Quint. From there you can choose learning materials which suit your particular interests.
The FIRST STEPS webinars are also a good place to start:
